My Book
                       


The book I choose is Invincible by Sherrilyn Kenyon. I choose this book because its interesting and it goes along with the theme I have that is power. The main character is Nick Gautier and he is learning unnatural powers which death is teaching him. He tries to be a good student to death and to his teachers at school, even though he is learning powers he struggles to control his every day life. The book is more about leaning powers and doing something good with them.

I am powerful and stupid.
I wonder about what is going to happen to me and my mom.
I hear that Kyrian is a vampire.
I see death as a friend.
I want more powers.
I am never safe.

I pretend to be smart.
I feel weak.
I touch death every day.
I worry about my mom.
I cry because I don't have enough powers.
I am stupid at times.

I understand that I am unique. 
I say stupid stuff.
I dream about demons and zombies.
I try to become more powerful.
I hope to end all fights.
I am still a 14 year old kid.

Abraham Lincoln once said "Nearly all men can stand adversity, but if you want to test a man's character, give him power."This means men can do or overcome everything if they had some sort of power in their hands and you can clearly see a mans personality based on his actions while he has power.This is true because when a man has more power than others he is going to try to control them in a good or bad way.This can clearly seen this in the book Invincible by Sherrilyn Kenyon of a boy who is trying to learn unnatural powers.Nick Gautier is the main character an he is trying to learn unnatural powers,he is also fighting death and zombies,also he is struggling with school and his grades.
